The Bungendore Bridge Club held their AGM on December 15th 2023 at the School of Arts Bungendore.
Margaret Gilligan, President, reported that in the last year, the Club had relocated to the Bungendore School of Arts building, due mainly to the increased cost of the Council Community Hall. QPRC had also flagged their intention to close the Community Hall in the future.
Comrades, you are invited to play Bridge this Saturday 31/12 in Paul's ballroom at 33 Turallo Terrace. Play will start at about 1 pm.
For this informal session of Bridge, you don't need a partner (but turn up with a partner if you have one). There will be no table fees. There will be no scoring (unless there is a clamour to do so). Drinks will be poured from any time you like. Non-playing partners are invited to join the group from about 3 pm.
The BBC is celebrating its 21st year of operation in 2022 and has grown since the early days. We regularly have twenty members playing each week.
